Scope, I just saw your post about GunGame5 being ready for the TWL ladder, and I thought I would bring to your attention that the improvement you brought up of never getting the wrong weapon is not true. If you have dead strip disabled, you can pick up the wrong gun just like in previous versions.

Edit, I was about to voice my support over there, when I saw your thread was trashed. Did you do that, or did the admins over there?

You can pick up any weapon you want. We removed the bug where you are given the incorrect weapon on levelup when standing over another weapon.

I may be mistaken, but I swear I have had it happen to me on a GunGame5 server. I can't reproduce it though, so I'm probably imagining it.

We committed this late last night. r570 has the feature of being able to run gg_turbo without gg_dead_strip. When gg_dead_strip is off we check to make sure you got your new weapon.

On a side note, it should not have been possible to run gg_turbo without gg_dead_strip up until the latest revision. gg_dead_strip has been a dependency of gg_turbo up until now.
