Problem with mapchange! Pls help

Postby oYster » Sun Mar 21, 2010 9:31 am

I want to run gungame on lan and downloaded a lan version here: http://tha-script.de/gungame/
BTW the lan is not started yet, and i am trying with bots. Everything works (also mapvoting) except mapchange.
In Console is written VERY often:
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
Change Map: gg_lego_mafia_arena
and so on but nothing happens. (Lego Mafia is the map which was votet)
This happens when i win or i reach 100 frags.
Uhhm... My Settings:

What do you mean "but nothing happens"? Do you mean it changes to a different map besides the one voted for?

Re: Problem with mapchange! Pls help

Postby oYster » Sun Mar 21, 2010 3:23 pm

No, if i say nothing happens i mean nothing happens. Maybe its hard to understand, but there is no mapchange.
I cant move, in console he is trying to change the map, but the map is still the same. I am standing there with a knife in the hand, i solved the last level.
Do u understand :P?

EDIT: If u dont understand ask again. Maybe that is just my failing english -.-

Sounds like gungame and mapvoting are functioning properly. Sounds more like a server issue or an issue with that map. Are you able to manually change to that map? SInce you have access to the servers console, type eventscripts_currentmap to see what map the server is saying it is on. Also, it 'could' be an issue with your client. Have you tried disconnecting from the server and then reconnect?
