Round restart on deathmatch

Postby propaganda » Fri Aug 14, 2009 10:15 pm

I have a weird issue on deathmatch, it runs fine for awhile and the suddenly rounds start to restart with a 1 minute round timer and it goes round based. Any ideas what might cause this anyone? Here is my configs

Ok it seems when all players on a team die it kicks into round mode, like say its 1 on 1 when someone gets killed it goes to 1 minute rounds instead of just respawning the player anyway to get around this?

It sounds like you may be running gg_gladiator or some sort of 1v1 knifing script?

No I don't have any of that set up XE. What happens is it runs in deathmatch but when there is say 4 peopel on if one team dies quickly before respawn it starts a new round.

Oh ... I misread.

If every player dies on a team, there is nothing that we can do about it currently. It will start a new round with a new round timer. This is programmed into Counter-Strike: Source, and there currently hasn't been a clever way discovered to prevent this from happening.

Ok thanks Manup. I set respawn to 1 to try and prevent too much of this.
