Wonder if anyone can help please?

I'm running GG5 Deathmatch. i can't seem to get the respawn to work.

Es & ES Tools are installed and working.

Loaded plugins:

In gg_default_addons.cfg i have set :gg_spawnpoints 0 (Does this need to be set to 1?)
gg_deathmatch 1
gg_dm_respawn_delay 2

In gg_en_config.cfg i have set : gg_respawn_cmd est_spawn

When i run the server and get killed i get a "You will respawn at the start of the next round"

What could i have done wrong ?

Well, you seem to have it set up correctly, so I'm not sure why it would tell you that you will respawn the next round.

This shouldn't affect the message you get, but make sure that you install this version of ES_Tools, as it has the respawn fix in it. A few months back, Valve released an update the broke the respawn function for all plugins. The original .420 ES_Tools was broken as well. That link takes you to a version that has been modified to fix the respawn function.

Also, just noticed, you need to make sure that you have ES 2.0.0.250i installed and not 2.0.0.248.

Also you could use Gungame Utils for respawn, which solves all ES Tools Problems at all.

Thanks, i couldnt get ES_tools to work but GG ult worked fine.

Interesting. The current version of GungameUtils has not been updated since before the Valve update that broke respawning, and therefore, should not respawn players. Where did you get a working version of GGUtils, or has your server not been updated since before the Valve update in August?

Yeah i have had to do the same thing, i scaped Utilities and es_tools and i am just running the sp addon that is mentioned in GG5 Forums.

Works really well...
