I spoke with RideGuy about this, and I'd like to see what you guys think.

Although we have the bug reports section on GoogleCode, it might be nice to have a discussion section here as well. For example, they submit the bug report on Google code, fill out a form here showing the bug report, and we can communicate about it here.

This is pretty much short and to the point, so let me know if you ahve any further questions.

Unless Google Code adds the option to auto-star new bug entries so that you receive emails, I think it's a good idea. It's hard to carry on a discussion when, for the most part, only the bug creator and one or two devs pay much attention to it. Google Code's comments seem to be better used as status updates for that particular issue.

I like seeing the bug stuff talked about here. Google is great for working them but not for discussing them.

One note to add, I don't think it's necessary to report every bug here -- many don't require discussion and are self-explanatory (ie. !level not working). I just think if it needs a discussion, someone can start one.
