I downloaded release 5.0.586, but it is showing up as 5.0.585 for some reason. Am I missing something or is this an error?

It's due to an error when we were committing r586. It's harmless, so you don't need to worry about it.

My bad. I'll make sure to get us back up to revision on the next update.

Where can I check in the files which version is on the server. Im trying to double check whats on a sever and am not sure.

I strongly believe its 586, however the error logs file shows 585 in the error logs file header and errorlog filename?

v586 does show up as v585. If you open the file gungame.py you will see that the comments at the top of the script read "Version: 5.0.586". I did not update correct variable and that's why it shows up as v585 in your error log.
