GunGame 5.1 File Downloads (1-Apr-2012)

:!: Below you will find a list of all files that are required for running GunGame5.1 after the Orange Box Engine update. We will update this thread each time a new version of something is available, so please check back often.

:arrow: On a side note, if you are not running the latest versions of each plugin as well as the latest version of GunGame5.1, we will fuss at you if you ask for support. We work hard on providing these updates to fix bugs and crashes. The least you can do to help us is to keep your servers updated as well to limit the number of reported bugs that have been fixed.

:idea: Note: Using all of the below files, GunGame5.1 will run on both Windows and Linux.

  1. EventScripts
  2. Source Python Extensions (SPE) (25-Jun-2011)
  3. GunGame5.1 (1-Apr-2012) - 5.1.630

Also, there are reports that some people are having connection issues with their server when GunGame5.1 is loaded via the autoexec.cfg and other strange issues. Please ensure that the following lines are added to your autoexec.cfg (the order DOES matter):
sv_allow_wait_command 1 // Required for EventScripts for the time being

stuffcmds // This is the line that fixes the IP issue & other strange issues
es_load gungame51


If GunGame5.1 still does not load with the above settings, use the server.cfg to load GunGame instead.

EventScripts has been updated - this will fix a ton of crashing issues. Please update EventScripts and update GunGame5.1 immediately.

Updated the top post with an autoexec.cfg example that is (for the most part) required for the time being.

For those if you that asked exactly what stuffcmds is, I will quote the following conversation from our forums:

stuffcmds is the command Valve uses to push the command-line parameters into server variables.
As a work around, doing this earlier than loading your scripts seems to resolve some of the issues for now.

Added a fix for servers that were not loading included addons when loaded via the autoexec.cfg. This is a HIGHLY recommended update.
