Thanks XE_ManUp, Played GG5.1 now for a few hours last night with no crashes no bugs what so ever... :P !!

You guys rock if there is anything else i can do id be more than happy to help :)

when someone wins the map and its supose to go to next map the server crashes and restarts do u know how to fix this. i have teh updated version of gg that u posted last night

Are you running Mani/SourceMod?

that was just an example i have it the same way through all them i dont have the defaualt vaule change cause i cant start server. but gg works fine just after u win the map it wont switch maps and a map vote isnt comming up

The problem remained and after upgrade :(
After the warm-up, all players remain with knifes.
Is available.
1. Server: Linux (orangebox).
2. EventScripts CS:S Public Beta: OrangeBox v2.1.0.323 (es2-ob-linux_bld2).
3. GunGame5.1 (5.1.454) - (autoexec.cfg + es_load gungame51).
4. Source Python Extensions [6/29/10] (sp_extensions_ep2).

also sobald ich spe drauf mache und es_load gungame51 mache geht der server offline und bleibt es auch

i have the same problem that ttc wrote.
I have the same addons that he had installed.

Today i had installed Sourcemod to run GameMe Stats on my Server.
Then i restarted the server and immediately he crashed.
When i don´t load gungame51 then the server starts and sourcemod is working.

Updated the first post:

Linux servers are having problems loading GunGame properly or players are not receiving weapons. We have to work with Mattie (EventScripts developer) to resolve this issue.

im glad to hear it. we appreciate all the work you guys do. I wish i could help but I know nothing about this stuff other then paying for a server and loading the things that people like to play :D

Well, i saw your post and got excited, went down the list here and downloaded all of that viewtopic.php?f=76&t=1369.
but, my server would, once again not start with es_load gungame51 in autoexec.cfg So i deleted that and loaded it manually and the server crashed immediately after the 1st kill. So im back to SM gungame, which I and everyone hates. bu it doesnt crash. anyway if you want to check out my server to test or something feel free sounds like your getting closer, ill try and post error log here in a little bit. running on Gentoo linux btw.

OK I wasnt in a good thinking state when i posted this, let me try again

EDIT2:
So, it seems there is still no way for me to start server with es_load gungame51 in the autoexec.cfg, The crash on first kill was my fault, didn't have the deadflag 0 thing. I could not start gungame at all without a crash with my normal cfg. i tried a default cfg, got it started and it crashed on mapchange. Please feel free to test on my server if you need/want to. No error logs.

Hi Guys :)
Before I just want to thank you all for the effort you are putting in helping us out, it is so appreciated :). Here are some issues I encountered from my side...
1.Timelimit variable:
When “mp_timelimit 20”set in server.cfg, the map won't change after time is reached. I have a feeling the GG5 ignores this variable when set in server.cfg. If you set it in gg_server.cfg instead and restart your server, the server will crash every time with the below error. And I have noticed what ever vars you put in gg_server.cfg will make the server crash.
workthreadpool.cpp (296) : Assertion Failed:CWorkThreadPool::StopWorkThreads: Some threads required forcible termination.
CWorkThreadPool::~CWorkThreadPool::  work complete queue not empty
.
2.Spawnpoint module:
I am using random spawn point and when I load the module with “gg_spawnpoints 1” and do a “spawn_show”, it won’t display any of the spawn point and only one ragdoll will show up. If you do spawn_show, in the console it will give you the error “cannot execute while “sv_cheat = 0” So I tried put “sv_cheat 1” and then you get the below error with a server crash:
Set the name of phys_bone_follower to gg_sp_prop0
workthreadpool.cpp (296) : Assertion Failed: CWorkThreadPool::StopWorkThreads: S
ome threads required forcible termination.

3.Slaying a player using Mani now crashes the server since I installed “es2-ob-windows_bld12”:
The server doesn’t seem to crash anymore every 2 or 3 maps so that is an awesome progress :D. But one thing is when using the slay option or adding a BOT using Mani, It now makes the server crash with the below error.

With a last update for Linux, the problem with infinite knifes has disappeared. Hurrah!
There was another. Or it already was.
On the second or third change of a map, the server reboots being installed on a start map :( .

I know I have been writing lost of stuff on the forum but I hope it can help finding some of the bugs or at least point to some direction. I know some of them maybe my own issues (probably is in some cases yes !) not knowing exactly how to properly configure GG5 but I am learning :mrgreen:. I am just hoping to help in my own way by posting what I encountered but if you feel it maybe just a config from my part please let me know or guide me to where to look, I will do my best to find out and do more tests. I know I am not the only either with server issues. I am sure you all have jobs and this is more of a hobby and a passion. I realize it big time and noticed you are putting a lot of hours and effort to try and fix this mess and I am very grateful for it as I do love very much my gungame server that I was able to build because of you guys :D. Please just don’t get discourage, we all know you can do it and we are behind you guys in supporting you in our thoughts. :). I wish I could do more than just posting issues, but in a way we all kind of all depend on you guys, your knowledge in putting our server back up and running. If you want us to give a hand on some testing or on how to properly post and use your forum not to mess it up with post all over the place as it currently starting to be :oops: , I am sure everybody will be more than happy and will want to help in maintaining this web site / forum clean and will understand.
In a way what I am trying to say here is THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :)
