I tried that also same thing, shouldve mentioned.

Also i didnt put it there, it has always been there since i got my server. would still do the same thing anyway right? i mean im not having any issues with starting gungame or rcon access, just the addons.

Ill also mention that the post i quoted previously, the guy pinpointed stuffcmds as making his addons not work. This is same problem i had the night of the update, and made an upset post :[ . i was just a problem ahead since i already had stuffcmds. ya?

EDIT: anyway please tell me any info or test i can do to help you, i will have time tomorrow morning. and believe me ive read everything and tried everything thats posted on this forum. i hover these forums constantly since the update.. once again... i HATE SM GG

Also mit den neuen gungame5_1_477 und den es2-ob-linux_bld176

habe ich das gungame nicht zum laufen gebracht

respown geht nicht und man rennt nur mit messer rum also er ladet gg nicht richtig

GG5.1 is still running good but every once in awhile we will still get a crash and here are the error logs. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to solve these issues.

Seit dem update läuft Gungame garnicht mehr richtig, liegt wohl an den behinderten linux Server! Habe bis jetzt aufjedenfall keine richtige version gehabt die richtig läuft!


Diedy versuch mal es_load gungame51 in der server.cfg da hat es bei manchen geklappt, bei mir nur teilweise leider er ladet zwar den waffenorder aber mapvote funktioniert dafür nicht dazu noch kartenwechsel geht auch nicht! Wenn man das letzte level erreicht hat und jemanden mit dem messer absticht dann endet das spiel einfach nicht sondern es läuft ganz normal weiter als der jenige hat einfach in der nächste runde wieder das messer^^

So Some Of You May Be Experiencing Some Troubles With Your Server Crashing At Certain Times For What Seems To Be No Reason On The Loading Screen. Well That Would Be Because That Certain Maps Are Not Working Anymore With The New Engine Update And Im Sure Could Be Fixed With A Simple Fix With The Hammer Editor Tho Some Of You May Think Its Eventscripts Or Gungame Its Not. I Have Done This A Few Times With A Certain Map Like gg_blue_arena
or The gg_pink_panther_2. Will Come Out With More Maps As I Find The Culprits To The Crashing Of Servers. And Hopefully Will Have A Fixed Version Of The Maps So They Can Be Played. For Now Here Are A Few That I Found.:

This is the reason for most of my crashes since the update, though i would just delete a map when i found it to cause a crash, i flushed out all the bad ones fairly quickly, but do you think maybe you can fix them? Some of them were really very good maps, besides the fact that they crash svr! Ill try and go back and look all which ones they were. Though my version of blue arena never had any problems huh.

I can't remember last time my servers crashed I'm running 4 gg5.1 server with both deathmatch and normal gg. They have been great still some issue with eventscripts bt gg is going well.

Ach das gejammere kenn ich doch von mir :mrgreen: Ich hab die hoffnung schon verloren gehabt :lol: aber es gibt ne andere lösung :mrgreen: !Wie heisst den dein Server diedy ?? Du hast bestimmt einen linux server wie ich oder ? weil keine version seit den obupdate lief bei mir richtig.....wollt mal wieder reinschaun wie es grad so steht^^ hat sich anscheindend nix geändert :mrgreen:

Na Benzino, dann ist es toll zu sehen das du die antwort wohl nicht mit anderen teilst, aber genauso wie andere gungame (welches von den entwicklern auch gratis gecoded wird) nutzt!

Wäre doch schöner zu schreiben welches deine Lösung denn nun ist, anstatt damit anzugeben das du eine hast!

Troubleshooting Tips:
  • Disable every included & custom addon.
  • Enable each addon 1 by 1 to see which one causes a crash or issue.
  • If you do not get the expected output from the addon, take note of it.
  • If something crashes, see if there is a pattern to the crash.
  • Please try to be as specific as possible when telling us of your bug. The more specific you are, the faster we can find and correct the issue.



I am wondering if this is still the way gg5.1 stands today. does deadstip and turbo still cause crashes? also do custom addons work such as buylevel? Thanks

Got latest revision of GG5.1, latest SPE, latest ES. Got all suggested cvar's in the first post in my configs in the right order.
