Punishment

Team Kill Punishment

0 - Off
# - Number of levels to lose

This is fine and seems to work well. Is there a way to prevent a TKer from being forced to sit out a round as well as the Level Loss punishment?
With some map configurations (like DM) this can cause a person to sit out a very long time.

I have also noticed that during the Warmup Round if you TK near the end of the round (within a second or so) you will often be forced to sit out the first real round of the game.

I can't seem to find any way to control the 'Sit Out a Round' option.

All I can tell you is that GunGame will never make anyone sit out, or slay anyone. Something else is doing that.

Thanks, there *may* be some old stuff stuff (pre 5.1) still hanging around. I'll see if I can't root it out.

I believe that you are looking for this:

] mp_tkpunish
"mp_tkpunish" = "0"
 game replicated
 - Will a TK'er be punished in the next round?  {0=no,  1=yes}

That's it!

mp_friendlyfire turns it on and off completely (FF has no effect)
This needs to be ON (one) if you want there to be any TK punishment

mp_tkpunish controls the 'sit out a round' punishment
This should be OFF (zero) if you want GG to control the punishment

gg_tk_punish should be used to control how many levels you lose for a TK


It's working exactly the way I want it to now (now there is no 'sit out a round' punishment)
