New update to Counter Strike Source This Night, and now my server want start.

But maybe only me who got the problem.

Not only you I am getting the same thing. I just updated now and my server wont start up

all that stupid updates, it's not funny to have a server, when problems like that happen.

I dont know what it is, I just checked out other servers. Some are updated and running, others not updated, and one gungame I joined said it was DM turbo and it was buyzones and no gungame. I tried starting the server with nothing in autoexec and it didnt start up at all either. I dont know what it could be besides another one of those fix 1 thing break 4 steam updates

Just an update for you guys. We have noticed the crashes and are working on narrowing down the causes. Not sure how long this is going to take, so bare with us. We will notify all of you as soon as we figure anything out. Just be patient.

I posted a global announcement regarding this issue. There's not much we are going to be able to do until we figure out what happened to trigger the issues.

Ok here is a update on the steam problems. Mani has a update out there to fix there problems. And when i updated mani the server starts up but Eventscripts wont start up. So that means that Gungame or any of the addons wont startup.

I think Linux servers with ES are having issues loading, period. Windows I believe loads ES, but I can't say what specifically causes crashes.

I tested it with a Linux system, and event scripts work withe several plugins, but not gg5.1 on my Server.
If the round starts, events script gave no weapon to the player.

With an external Plugin all players earn a Weapon from the plugin.

Using the ES fix and everything seems to be working again on my gg51 Windows servers. No errors so far.

Finally, if you running a Linux Server, you must Update SPE from the Eventscript site.

hello everyone... i just joined the forum and found this thread and i am a little confused...

i am running a gungame 5.1.509 server on windows OS and i am having all the problems since the update
what *currently* do i need to install or upgrade to fix my server?

Please take note of the Known Issues section. #1 only affects 'some' people. #2 affects everyone, so definitely download that script and have it loaded.

oh wow... i put that addon on the server and loaded it... now the server seems to be fine? lol
that was easy enough i guess...

thanks Satoon... is there anything else i should know or need to do?
