GunGame - Python Extension Crashes

In Gungame is there anyway to bypass the Python Extensions?
I.e is it possible to load DeathMatch Mod and add Turbo and Weapon advancement through some other plugin, thus emulating gungame outside of the Python dependencies?
Every Steam update "breaks" this fantastic MoD
Satoon 101 and Ayuto seem to be working overtime to repair this every 5 minutes... and the rest of you I am sure!?
