Ok, a Linux build has been uploaded as well for EventScripts. Please update to the unofficial version found in the following thread, and everything should work as it did before this update:

The new version from your-name-here has been working over 24 hours without issue on my CSS:Source Linux server with Gungame51 latest version :) Thanks for the link I scoured the eventscript forums and had almost given up having sound before a few days waiting for an official update.

Congrats for finding the problem and pointing everyone in the right direction :)

im getting this error in my event logs if it means anything

error: Failed to open/read local data from file/application

warning: Can't read pathname for load map: Input/output error.

warning: .dynamic section for "/servers/theadultgungame/orangebox/cstrike/addons/mattie_eventscripts.so" is not at the expected address (wrong library or version mismatch?)

Hey guys :)
Havent actuallty had GG running on my server for quite some time now, work has me busy and Im tired of dealing with fixing things every time steam decides to update CS (to no appearant gain).
In any event Im making the effort today to get things back up and running before my humble little community completely dies out.
Ive got a windows server, and Ive just updated to the newest version of ES and GG, as well as added YNH's unofficial fix.
Ive disabled the sound pack.
When I start up the server I get this after the bots connect...

L 07/21/2012 - 20:33:26: Engine error: ED_Alloc: no free edicts

Just wondering if anybody could tell me where Im going wrong, I really need to get this thing running sometime soon :(

Since you have YNH's unofficial fix installed you can re-enable the sound pack now.

And the SPE update should fix the "no free edicts" error.

Do bots join on server start? Could you post me the cfg file that you use to add bots?

Alright, so, gave up, went to sleep, took a fresh shot at it today.
Followed all the info in the threads that you guys have responded to or created.
Have a working Gungame server again :)
So thanks guys for all your hard work and help :D

I guess I spoke too soon... or something else entirely is going on, a few days after the server was working, and now gungame fails to load again, though I havent changed anything.
Now on es_load gungame51 I get "Can't load addon (gungame51): DLL load failed: Invalid access to memory location."

I've seen that error a few times in the past but not recently. It usually goes away after a server reboot. If not, then you've probably overwritten one of the dll files with an older version from a recent install. Check to make sure you have the lastest version of all your plugins and addons.

For example, I see you're running DAF version 3. You should update to version 4.
Your HLstats:CE version 1.6.2 is from 2009. The latest version is 1.6.17
You are also running SourceMod version 1.4.3 which was partially broken by the recent steam update. Update to version 1.4.4 and check to make sure any SM plugins aren't interferring with GunGame51, in particular the 2 knife plugins you are using.

You can temporarily disable SourceMod and see if the problem goes away. If it does then re-enable the SM plugins one at a time until you find the offending plugin. If that doesn't work reinstall Eventscripts and the unofficial fix and also GunGame51 and SPE and let it overwrite all the files.

Okay everything looks to be working fine now with one issue found.
Whenever the server is restarted the gg warm up round makes the server crash, this will happen a few times then everything will work fine until the next server restart.
I turn off the warm up round and everything is fine. Any ideas?
