best admin

Hello,

New to this, but started a couple of servers running GG5, this is great. Is there any particular admin addon you recommend? I have tried a couple, but none that seem to work with GG5 and that I like.

do most people even use an admin addon? or do you just eventually memorize everything you need to type?

We use Mani on my clans server, although I personally find SourceMod easier to work with. What specifically are you looking for?

hey, thats all i was looking for - thanks! I was just looking in the wrong places, found a couple but they are a little weak compared with either of these.

would you mind giving me a reason you like the SourceMod admin better? looks like either would do fine...or which is more user friendly for a noob?

Mani doesn't have nearly the same amount of support as SourceMod does, and SourceMod is much more customizable. The basic SourceMod installation may be lacking in some things which are standard in Mani, but installing the addons is simple enough, and I like that flexibility.

mani is admin mod....and just that....most others offer more than you need for an admin mod...like sourcemod(more than u need)...I would rec XA (xtensable admin) and ES addon....
it will be the best one day...I just have years and years of use with mani...and I dont have the time nor patience to teach my clan a new one....but if I just started XA all the way
