Make people download

Hi, when my friend joins my game, it freezes and only happens when gungame is loaded. And I think he needs teh gungame files such as sounds and stuff, so how can I make it where when my friend joins he can download the neccessary stuff?

use fast downloads....using your website to enable compression and faster DL times

How do I set it up where they can actually download from me right when they join not making the game complain that they don't have certain files.

i believe your asking how to make it so people automatically download what they need to play? if thats the case than you only need to change the server setting for auto download to 1 and you should be all set but either way your friend should be able to play even without sounds in theory he should only need the map.

but u should still use fast DL....I refuse connections to servers who are too lazy to set it up.....improves DL for everyone and takes the pain from doing it locally on your servers.....add me to steam friends, if you want help setting it up
