Hello people! first off all thanx to all the developers of this mod...gungame has and will be one of the most fun mods ever introduced to counter strike and i thank you all for your hard work and support! gg rulz!!!

down to business.

I have trouble starting up gungame5.1 on my server. If i addd es_load gungame51 to my autoexec.cfg the server will not start up. If i go in game and load the mod manually the server instantly crashes when the script is loaded. i tried about 20 times and out of those 20 it worked once but for a short while..ive enabled logs just as this thread suggested and i have not gotten any logs from gungame itself but i did get ones from cstrike/logs

I have attached what i got to this post. please take a look and tell me if ther is anything i can do to fix this. i have 2 servers on hold because i cant get it to work right lol. thanx all

oh another thing is it doesnt seem to generate gg_server.cfg

as in there is nothing inside...i cant config it the way i want like in the previous version of gg5

haha ty. ive seen a server that is running gg5.1 so i imagine there has to be some kind of a fix. would it make a difference if the OS is linux or windows?

There are many servers currently running GunGame v5.1.481:

It 'could' have to do with your specific OS, but I'm not sure. I you could both post that for us, it would be appreciated. Also, any other information you can give us would be helpful as well.

It does seem as if you are both using Mani-Admin-Plugin. Could you both try disabling Mani, and see if the problem persists?

the server i am running is hosten on a linux box. im beggining to think that it IS the OS...rather linux only...i have disabled mani admin and i still get the same result. what really bit me in the ass is that i also tried gungame4 with/without mani and it still brings down the server as soon as the mod loads...

couple other server owners that i know say tht it might be a issue with the latest version of eventscripts. i will try to reinstall es again and see how far that tkes me

Hello again...well i fixed the crashing issue. it was a mistake on my part

stuffcmds
sv_allow_wait_command 1

those two commands i did not put in which caused the server to crash. For those who care add those two to autoexec.cfg and add the second command to your server.cfg as well. i did that and now if functions perfectly.

tryed with stuffcmds; sv_allow_wait_command 1 on autoexec, and on sercer.cfg, with and without zblock. and when y load gungame it doesnt work, when y load gungame51 server crashes

Did you try:

Also, try using MetaMod to load Mani. I've known this in the past to fix many different issues.

Thanx Satoon. it only took me 2 hours of reading trough ES forums. haha.

one more thing i would like to add. to those who edit the custom weapon order files...MAKE SURE!!!! that you spell everything correctly!! i edited mine and wrote hegranade instead of hegrenade and the server would not load gungame. just and fyi...something else to check if its not working. haha

it says
