GunGame 5.1 Not Giving Weapons after todays update

Not sure what the problem is or what information to give here. Since the update earlier today my clans server does not give out weapons at all. This includes warmup (nades), start of each round, or level up (turbo). If anyone has any ideas what the problem is that'd be great.

From what I can put together everything else is loading in gungame including:
-In chat notifications for leading level
-Pop-up mid screen saying what level your on, weapon, etc.

This is what I get when I put plugin_print and meta list on. They have not changed since before the update from what I can remember.

I think it broke everyones. We gotta wait it out :/ Looks like an eventscripts problem.

Yeah, broke mine too. Just have to wait for the relevant update. Ill favorite this post nd hopefully when the needed update is released someone can post it here, Ill do the same if I find the update first ofc =). Ill go rescue a hostage now, since Gungame came out, those poor bastards have been stuck with those Ts for far too long on my server.

Yea figured we couldn't be the only server. I have this thread bookmarked so I'll post if I find a fix as well.

So, anyone find a fix yet? =).

"Yep, they updated the signatures that are used by SPE and GunGame. I am not sure that your-name-here has updated the download as of yet." According to XE_ManUp on on the ES forums. So seems its actually a GG and PSE update thats needed =).

Precisely. We just have to wait on YNH to update the signatures for SPE. It should be an semi-easy fix.

Ahh, so the only update we will need is a new SPE? Cheers XE_ManUp. Ill go spam refresh their forums ;)

The hostages on my server are really unused to being rescued, poor guys are so confused right now, they keep running into walls and get stuck on small fences etc. Plus every round they are recaptured, which is kind of shocking seeing as half of them are scientists. You'd think the'd be smart enough to like.. go home after being rescued.

Well idk look at Princess Peach. Almost every game you have to save her and she's captured by a turtle. Not sure how that works.

Remember to post back here with the link or w/e if you find it before anyone else. I'll do the same. Just want to get the server back to 100% asap. Having throwing knife practice isn't bad though. :)

just wanted to let you guys know that sourcemod:GG still works, and we are currently running it on our server until the SPE fix is released. IP info is above if you want to check it out.

Dogs Gungame works, does anyone know if they are using sm GG , or gungame 5.1, whats the difference between the 2?

Hrm, getting tempting to switch =/. If there is no real difference between the SM version and the "normal" verion, ill do a quick switch now. Argh, time to dive into some fresh config files!

im pretty partial to gg 5.1 , i just want to know the difference. and i want to know what in the heck dogs is using because they were back up and running in an hour or so. Im still down grrrrrrrrr.

is this just a windows server problem? cos i have a windows server and a linux server and the linux server is unaffected?

Lenox uses symbols to get the functions. Windows uses signatures which are slightly less stable. At this point we are just waiting to get the updated Signatures.

ahh ok. has any1 any ideas how long it may take? i can imagine all the work involved im just curious as to a timeframe as if its gonna take a fw days ill redirect players from my windows server to the linux..if only a short while they can wait like me lol

I've heard that only Windows servers were affected. I saw a couple of Linux servers that appeared to be up and running normally. I didn't check them in-game, just peeked in with HLSW. We tried sourcemod gungame after the last Valve-job and it was just OK. Not as customizable as GG5 or 5.1 but if you need gungame it may suffice. I'm holding out till tomorrow night and if 5.1 isn't fixed I'll have to switch.

yes SM gungame is just ok, hopefully 5.1 will be fixed soon as i much prefer it to the SM version. fingers crossed
