Somebody who got a good running gungame 5.1
Plz put the eventscript files, ES Files en Gungame files to 1 zip en let me download to try :(

I think your attitude is making people not want to help you. Try being a little humble and stop demanding things of people. It's not like this is a paid piece of software. ;)

Yes, sorry.

I tryed a lot of things to make my gungame server works.
Now i have already 2 months a gungame server whitout gungame :(

I realy like gungame and want to play it on my own server :$
So please, help me :)

Ok, let's do this step by step. Please do not get ahead of me, and please do exactly as I say/ask.

First, shut down your server. Then, delete everything from your server's ../cstrike/addons/ directory as well as delete your server's ..cstrike/cfg/gungame51/ folder. And, remove any lines with es_load from your server's autoexec.cfg and server.cfg files.

Once that is done, install 'only' the newest EventScripts. Start your server, and use plugin_print in your server's console (or if you do not have access to the server's console, use rcon plugin_print in your client console). Post the output here.

We're doing this step by step to make sure everything is done correctly, and to find exactly where the error is occurring, so please be patient.

Ok, just to verify, did you use plugin_print on the server console or your client console? And, if in client, did you make sure to use rcon plugin_print? Just need to make sure you used the proper command, as it seems EventScripts isn't even loaded now. Also, just to make sure, you did install the correct version of EventScripts:

Download the CS:S and TF2 (Orangebox) version for the correct Operating System your server is on. Also, make sure after you install that version to make the fix noted under Known Issues.

After doing all that, again, try plugin_print .

I use Putty (linux) to control my servers.
then:
screen -x public2
so now i'm in the server console.
then
plugin_print

so yes, i sad it as console.

now i installed and edited cfglib.py

Ok, so now ES is install correctly, so go ahead and install the newest SPE from this link:

Again, use plugin_print to verify that both plugins are working.

After confirming that, log onto the server and play around a bit, to verify that the server does not crash at this point.

Ok, now, shut down the server. Then, download and install the newest GunGame5.1 (just updated a few days ago):
http://addons.eventscripts.com/addons/view/gungame51

Do not add any es_load's to your config files, just leave them as they are. Boot up your server. If you have any bots on it, remove them, as well as do not log onto it yourself. With the server empty of any players, use es_load gungame51 in the server's console. Post the output here after loading it.

Looks to be running fine without bots. What map is your default start map for your server? Some maps crash with bots no matter what you do.

    gg_minesweeper_ggn

is an example of such a map. It runs fine without bots, but the second a bot joins a team BAM the server crashes. To me it would appear you may need to go through all your maps and make sure which ones work and which one don't, with the bots.

Yes, it does seem as if not having bots on when you load GunGame, it loads properly. Now, 'after' you load GunGame without bots, what happens when you add bots? Also, what happens when you join the server prior to adding bots, and even after adding the bots?

As lqhnybear suggested, try this on different maps as well.

ok, Server crasht on some maps...
Also crasht te server if I boot with bots..

I hope it will be fixed in the new release :)

What about when you 'add' bots 'after' GunGame is already loaded? Unfortunately, I don't know that there is anything we can 'fix' to stop bots/maps from causing crashes.

I want you to try to start your server with this map. It is a known working map with bots. I start my own server with it, with bots running.

Specifically look at the first point in the Known Issues section.

Also, one thing that I know can cause crashing is if you have bots set up incorrectly on your server. Make sure you do not use any of the "bot_add" commands, and instead use only bot_join_after_player and bot_quota.
