After a whole day of gg_winner_display not showing the page, it finally did and I then knew that the site was back up. YAY!
Any word of an official expanation from the hosting / domain companies?

It seems I have the DNS pointing to itself so when they rebooted the machine for some reason it didn't get the DNS service working right. Finally tonight I just went in and restarted the DNS service and bang, it worked.
I need to get the DNS so that some other server points to it so it will recover better. At least that's what they suggest I do. For now I'm doing nothing.
